Abstract:
PURPOSE: To inform the separation event of a cache even if troubles occur in a communication function by providing a disconnect message area on a cache storage and informing the message of the separation of the cache.
CONSTITUTION: A microprogramming control means 11 directs and controls a channel adapter 17, a disk adapter 16, a control memory part 12, a cache control part 14 and a communication means 13. The disconnect message area 151 is provided on the cache storage part 15 and the message of the separation of the cache can be informed by writing the message of the separation of the cache in the disconnect message area 151.
