Title:
SYSTEM FOR MEASURING POSITION OF AT LEAST ONE TARGET FOR RADIATING RADIOACTIVE RAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0367112
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to follow the rotations of a plurality of targets several times by providing means for controlling means for driving a collimating unit to rotate around a common axis in response to the value of an azimuth to be measured to equalize the azimuths.

CONSTITUTION: Two infrared passive panorama monitors 6a, 6b are supported by stirrup pieces 5a, 5b, which are driven to rotate around a vertical axis 60 by motors 3a, 3b. Angular sensors 4a, 4b measure the angles between the azimuth of the collimating surfaces of the monitors 6a, 6b, i.e., a vertical reference surface including the axis 60 and the collimating surface. An object control display circuit 9 controls the motors 3a, 3b in response to the signals outputted from the sensors 4a, 4b and the signals outputted from the monitors 6a, 6b, measures the three coordinates of infrared radiation source as a target for giving menace, sends the coordinates to a strategic utilization system, and a coming target is displayed on the system.
