To perform batch management of charging information by eliminating disunity of different carriers as to an authentication system and a charging system for contents service that a contents provider provides.
A system and a method for charging management in which contents service use charges are paid to the contents provider at a time are realized by converting authentication information and charging information sent and received when users having mobile telephone terminals of different carriers use the contents service that the contents provider provides and managing charge results to the users as to the use of the contents service.
