Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an exact system parameter is maintained while a comparatively inexpensive oscillator is required.
SOLUTION: A controlled oscillator generates a cyclic output signal having first and second output level states. The oscillator responds to an inputted sawtooth wave signal to change between first and second voltages Vlow and Vhigh. The oscillator is composed of a comparator 82 and a non-inverted input thereof receives the sawtooth wave signal inputted thereto and the cyclic output signal is generated from an output 86 thereof. First voltage reference circuits 88, 90 and 92 generate the second voltage Vhigh, the voltage Vhigh is inputted to the inverted input of the comparator, the cyclic output signal is in the first output level state on the other hand and the input signal is charged from the first voltage Vlow to the second voltage. When the input signal becomes equal to the second voltage, the output of the comparator is switched to the second output level and second voltage reference circuits 92, 94 and 96 generate the first voltage in the inverted input of the comparator.
