Abstract:
To provide a system for cooling a wall of a gas turbine combustor.
In one embodiment, the system includes an engine wall (58). The engine wall (58) includes a low temperature side (72) and a high temperature side (74). The engine wall (58) includes one or more of dilution holes (70), and the respective dilution holes (70) include a first opening (81) at the low temperature side (72), an opening (83) at the high temperature side (74), and a section of heat shield coatings (TBC)(78) formed at the low temperature side (72) and having an opening substantially circumscribed on the first opening (81), respectively.
