Abstract:
To provide a stained glass collage which can be fitted to a non-rectangular target area.
Images are input in step 510. A germ and a support are calculated for each image (steps 520 and 530). The germ is disposed in an area of irregular (or other) shape (step 540). The germ is moved according to annealing algorithm (step 550). Whether a stopping condition is satisfied or not is determined based on a new position of the germ (step 560). When the stop condition is not satisfied, the algorithm is returned to step 550, and another germ is moved. When the stop condition is satisfied, the germ is scaled (step 570). The clearance between germs is filled by use of Voronoi algorithm.
