To provide a fuel nozzle assembly that reduces amplitudes in combustion dynamics.
A staggered multi-nozzle assembly includes a first fuel nozzle 12 having first axes 60, 62, 64 and first flow paths 66, 68, 70 extending to first downstream end portions 48, 72, 74, 76, wherein the first fuel nozzle has a first non-circular perimeter at the first downstream end portion. The staggered multi-nozzle assembly also includes second axes 60, 62, 64 and second flow paths 66, 68, 70 extending to second downstream end portions 48, 72, 74, 76, wherein the first and second downstream end portions 48, 72, 74, 76 are axially offset from one another relative to the first and second axes 60, 62, 64. The staggered multi-nozzle assembly further includes a cap member 42 disposed circumferentially about at least the first and second fuel nozzles 12 to assemble the staggered multi-nozzle assembly.
