Abstract:
To provide a more suited operation frequency management system in a bladed computer system.
In one embodiment of a system and method for managing performance of a bladed computer system, one or more blades in a chassis are identified using a management blade. Then, optimum performance setting for each processor is individually decided automatically for each processor by using this management blade. Then, information about the optimum performance setting decided individually for each blade is provided to a service manager. Finally, the frequency is individually set to at least one of blades by using the information processed within this service manager.
