Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach/detach a plug to/from an opening for sealing easily and rapidly.
SOLUTION: A plug is comprised of a plug-shaped plug body 12 having a sealing part 12B which can be inserted into an opening 11 of a work W and a flange part 13 provided on the body 12 in opposition to the insertion direction thereof, and a hole 15 is formed axially into the body 12 from the flange part 13. When forces are applied from the outside, the plug body 12 and flange part 13 contract radially, allowing the hole 15 to contract radially. When a plug 10 is attached to the opening 11, a first jig is inserted into the hole 15 to impact a pushing force to the plug so that the flange part 13 is brought into contact with a surface S of the work W to limit the insertion position of the plug. And if a second jig is inserted into the hole 15 to impact a pushing force, the flange part 13 falls into the hole 15, allowing the plug 10 to drop down in the same direction as the insertion direction.
