To detect and control accurate radiation exposure dose in radiographing a patient.
When performing radiography, firstly the total exposure dose aggregated for the patient S and his/her body regions photographed in the past is extracted from a database DB to determine whether the total past exposure dose is equal to or larger than a prescribed threshold value. If it is determined to be equal to or larger than the prescribed threshold value, a radiographic device 10 outputs an alarm to a radiation engineer. On the other hand, if it is determined that the total past exposure dose is below the prescribed threshold value, radiography begins with the radiographic device 10. In this case, not only the radiation exposure dose in this radiographing but all other exposure doses by preparatory radiation or radiation when imaging ends in failure are added together. When the radiography is finished, the required imaging exposure dose measured by an exposure dose measuring means 14 is transmitted to an exposure dose control means 20 through a network 2. Then, data for the radiography of this time is added to the data sheet of the patient S by a data aggregation means 21 of the exposure dose control means 20.
