Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a system in which the purchase or the refund of a ticket can be executed from a distant place by using a communication line without causing the forgery or the illegal duplication of the ticket and a trouble related to the delivery and receipt of electronic money or an electronic ticket between the purchaser of the ticket and the issuer of the ticket.
CONSTITUTION: This system is constituted of an electronic ticket selling.refunding device 1 the issuer of the ticket holds, a terminal equipment 3 provided with, at least, a data input part the purchaser operates, a data display part and a data transmitting. receiving part, and an electronic ticket storage device 2 the purchaser holds. The device 1 and the equipment 3 are connected to a telephone line 4, and the device 2 and the equipment 3 are connected to each other in a contact state or in a noncontact state. Both the transmission and the reception of data between the device 1 and the device 2 are executed by the electronically signed electronic money and the electronic ticket. By recording transaction history, the trouble of the delivery and receipt of the electronic ticket and the electronic money is prevented.
