Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for mounting members in furniture that does not need a member other than a mounting member when the mounting member is mounted to a support member thereby improving an assembly efficiency at an installation site, that prevents the mounting member from coming off from the support member even if a shaking such as that of an earthquake occurs thereby preventing an object on a shelf from falling down, and that prevents an error in shipment in a factory.SOLUTION: A support member of furniture such as a desk has a plurality of locking holes formed at predetermined intervals in a vertical direction. A bracket member, which has locking nails for engaging with the locking holes, constitutes a mounting member (lateral frame member) such that it is mounted at both right and left ends of a lateral frame so as to be slidable in a right and left direction. The bracket member is always biased in an inner or outer direction, and moves in either direction when the locking nails engage with the locking holes, thereby preventing the lateral frame member from unexpectedly moving in the vertical or right and left direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
