To provide a system for producing a dress, by which the dress having a low price and a high customer satisfaction degree can be obtained, and to provide a method for producing the same.
This system for producing the dress is characterized by attaching IC tags to the parts of the dress and disposing an IC tag terminal 12 for transmitting and receiving data to and from the IC tags on a sewing line 15. The system for sewing the dress comprises a three-dimensionally human body-measuring device, a virtual try-on room 3 in which a customer can virtually try on the dress, while receiving advices from a fashion designer, a host computer 6 exclusive for making data for fashions, images and dress patterns, a sewing system 7, a supply means 24 for supplying the raw materials and materials of the dress to the sewing system, an image-forming means 19 for making the image of the completed dress, and a delivery system 18 for delivering the produced dress to a customer. The host computer comprises an apparel CAD/CAM2 for making design lines on data from the three-dimensionally human body-measuring device, a cross simulation device for taking information from the CAD/CAM and desires from the customer to make an image for a virtual try-on, and data base.
