A system for recording the actual result of rolling includes: a steel-passing-through detecting part for transmitting a signal having detected the passing-through of the steel ingot to a heating furnace control part; an analyzing part for performing a prescribed data processing; and an operating part allowing an operator to perform various operations. In the system, for an exhaust-planned steel ingot from the heating furnace, when the operator confirms that the exhaust-planned ingot is the same as the exhaust-ingot number, the operator operates the operating part to select the ingot number and the operating part transmits the selected ingot number to the analyzing part, and when the selected ingot number matches with the exhaust-ingot number in the heating furnace control part, the heating furnace control part transfers the prescribed exhaust-planned data to the analyzing part, and the operator puts the steel ingot onto a conveying part from the heating furnace by operating an exhaust part, and when the ingot passes before the steel-passing-through detecting part, the steel- passing-through detecting part transmits the signal having detected the passing-through of the ingot to the heating furnace control part, which updates the data and transmits the exhaust data to the analyzing part, which records the rolling time result in the heating furnace.
