To accurately and quickly select and decide a design specification for an elevator among various design specifications (color) in an interactive manner.
When an item to which the color of a menu 306 of a display picture, e.g. a 'wall' is clicked, a window 401 having the names of many selectable colors and their color samples is opened. When a user clicks and selects one among the color samples displayed within the window 401, the selected color is reflected on the wall of a platform displayed as a design sample. When the user clicks a closing button 402 in the window 401, the window 401 is closed and the display picture shown in the diagram 3 is returned. Desired colors can be allocated to the platform constituting the elevator and each part in a container by selecting an item such as a jamb 302 and a platform door and performing selection of colors as shown above.
