In this heating/cooling system 1A, a compressor 51 of a refrigerating air-conditioning cycle circuit 50 is connected with an expander 15 and a Stirling engine 12 of a Rankine cycle circuit 11. When the expander 15 and the Stirling engine 12 are driven, the compressor 51 is driven, and the heating is performed in the refrigerating air-conditioning cycle circuit 50. An operating medium of the Rankine cycle circuit 11 and a second operating medium of the refrigerating air-conditioning cycle circuit 50 exchange heat in a heat exchanger 16a. A cooling medium circulated in a cooling medium circulating circuit 35 absorbs the heat of a low-temperature portion of the Stirling engine 12 in a water jacket 33 and the heat inside of a heater 13 in an exhaust heat recovering unit 14, and stores the heat in a cooling medium storage tank 34.
