Abstract:
The present invention provides a system to treat obesity or biliary reflux by tightening a pyloric sphincter. The system comprises an operative device adapted and configured to ablate tissue in, at, or near the pyloric sphincter. The operative device is adapted and configured, in use, to be deployed adjacent to a tissue region, at, or near the pyloric sphincter. The system may comprise a source of treatment agent coupled to the operative device to apply the treatment agent into contact with the tissue region.
