PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display sufficient sales promotion effects by securely grasping whether or not a customer opens direct mail and giving a special privilege according to that. SOLUTION: An FSP server device 104 after instructing a DM mail server device 105 to issue direct mail(DM) decides whether or not the direct mail is read. On the basis of this decision result, the FSP server device 104 controls the imparting state of the privilege (article price and sales promotion points) set for an action to purchase an article on a POS system by an object customer of DM.
