Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly update the table information of an equipment.
SOLUTION: A center unit 30 divides the table information for updating a public telephone set 40 into plural information blocks, so as to divide and transmit it in plural times, prepares correct check codes by respectively performing a prescribed arithmetic operation to information, for which one information block and all the information blocks whose transmission orders are before the information block are combined for the respective information blocks, converts the respective correct check codes corresponding to the ones from the information block of a first transmission order to the information block of the transmission order, one before, last among the correct check codes to the error check codes of different values, transmits the ones from the information block of the first transmission order to the information block of the transmission order one before the last, together with the error check codes corresponding to the information blocks and transmits the last information block together with the correct check code corresponding to the last information block.
