Abstract:
To provide a high quality and excellent aesthetic table which exposes no end surface even in a folded state.SOLUTION: The table with a foldable top board includes: a main top board 1; a sub top board 2 which is connected to the main top board 1 in a freely foldable manner; and a hinge 3 which connects the main top board 1 and the sub top board 2 in a freely foldable manner. The main top board 1 and the sub top board 2 make their connecting end faces 1X, 2X an inclined plane, with the connecting end faces 1X, 2X designed to have an angle of inclination by which the sub top board 2 can be folded in a vertically extendable posture. The hinge 3 is provided with a pivot 4 that is connected to the connecting end face 2X of the sub top board 2 and a slide shaft 5 that freely rotatably connects the pivot 4. The pivot 4 is connected to the connecting end face 2X of the sub top board 2 in a longitudinally extendable posture. The slide shaft 5 is freely rotatably connected to the tip part in a posture orthogonally crossing the pivot 4, and also connected, in a posture parallel with the main top board 1 surface and in a freely reciprocating manner in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
