Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rearrange respective tracks with a simple operation and to reproduce them successively by providing plural MD housing parts, a retrieval information storage means of respective tracks and a successively reproducing control means.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 23 detects the insertion of an MD 30, and a control circuit 45 drives a roller 21 and stores the MD 30 into a storage device 19. The roller 22 sends it to a recording/reproducing unit 29 to load it. A control circuit 45 positions an optical pickup on a UTOC area of the MD 30, and starts a servo control circuit 44, and rotates a spindle motor 37, and controls a feeding motor 39 to read recording information. The information on the UTOC area of the MD is successively read out, and after it is stored in a memory, the information is rearranged, for instance, in order of alphabet related to a title, and a table of MD number, music number and track title is formed newly to be stored in the memory 10. By instruction from a key input terminal 49, the control circuit 45 reads out the data stored in the memory 10 to reproduce them in order of alphabet. By such a constitution, respective tracks of the MD are rearranged with a simple operation related to a music name, performer name, etc., and are reproduced.
