To provide a tablet or capsule pick-up unit enabling even a person such as an aged person having a less gripping power to pick-up the PTP packaged tablet or capsule in an easy manner.

This tablet or capsule pick-up unit is comprised of a base table 2 having stopper rods 10 set upright and having a plurality of pushing-up rods 1 formed to be longer than the stopper rods 10 only by a thickness of the tablet or capsule; supporting columns 3 formed to be longer than the pushing-up rods 1 and set upright at corners of the base table 2; and a thick plate having the same thickness as that of the tablet or capsule. There are provided a holding plate 6 having some holes 5 coincided with a size of the tablet or capsule formed to pass through in compliance with the positions of the pushing-up rods 1 at the base table 2, having corners of the base table provided with through-pass holes 4 and fitted to the supporting columns 3 in such a way that it can be moved up and down; a depressing plate 8 composed of a thick plate having the same thickness as that of the tablet or capsule, formed with holes having the same shape as that of the tablet or capsule holes 5 in the holding plate 6 and connected on the holding plate 6 through a hinge 7 in such a way that it can overlap it; and a coil spring 9 wound between the base table 2 for the supporting columns 3 and the holding plate 6.
