PURPOSE: To facilitate the switching work of the switch of a point function and a pen function and the discrimination of both of the functions in a tablet (digitizer) inputting wireless pen provided with both of the functions by switching the resonance frequency of an IC circuit.

CONSTITUTION: A pen core 3 capable of haunting from the tip of a case 2 and a pen core movement mechanism 8 are provided in the internal space of the case 2. Besides a switching switch 7 switching the resonance frequency of an LC circuit in accordance with the haunting of the pen core is provided. The switching switch 7 switches the function to be the point function when the pen core 3 sinks from the tip of the case 2 and to be the pen function when the pen core 3 is out. Thus, analogy between with a usual ball point pen is attained and the operation convinience of the wireless pen 1 is improved. If the pen core movement mechanism is made similar to the pen core retracting mechanism of the ball point pen, the mechanism of retracting the pen core by repushing a knock 11b, e.g. the wireless pen is more easy to use.
