To obtain a tacky tape having a feeling possessed by a film tape, functions unique to a material and hand cutting properties possessed by a woven fabric tape by using warp yarns and weft yarns comprising a polyolefin-based synthetic resin as a raw material and having specific physical properties.
This tacky tape is provided with a base fabric prepared by forming a laminate layer containing a polylefin-based synthetic resin as a raw material on at least one of the front side and back side of a woven cloth 3 prepared by using flat yarns made of the polyolefin-based synthetic resin as the material as warp yarns 1 and weft yarns 2 in which the warp yarns 1 have a fineness within the range of 50-250 denier, the weft yarns 2 have a fineness within the range of 200-400 denier and the warp yarns 1 have a lower denier than that of the weft yarns 2 set at a higher weaving density of the warp yarns 1 than that of the weft yarns 2 and is obtained by forming a tacky layer on the back side of the base fabric and a functional layer of a synthetic resin film and a metal thin film on the front side thereof. The functional layer is preferably a multilayered structure obtained by laminating the synthetic resin film to a decorative printed film and the metal thin film in the order mentioned. Thereby, the tacky tape usable for many applications such as packaging, binding and hermetic sealing, or the like, of materials is obtained.
