Abstract:
To provide a tactile sense presentation device and a tactile sense presentation method which are capable of suppressing generation of sounds caused by tactile sense presentation.SOLUTION: A tactile sense presentation device 1 roughly comprises: a contact detection unit 16 that detects an operation on an operation target; a tactile sense presentation unit 18 that vibrates the operation target so as to present a tactile sense; a microphone 20 that collects sounds around the operation target so as to convert them into a sound collection signal S3; an extraction unit 22 that extracts noise components on the basis of the sound collection signal S3 obtained from the microphone 20 so as to generate an extraction signal S4; and a control unit 24 that presents the tactile sense on the basis of a drive signal S2 when the operation is detected, and that superimposes an inverse phase signal S5 of the extraction signal S4, generated from sounds collected by presenting the tactile sense, on the drive signal S2 so as to present the tactile sense.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
