To provide a tag printing apparatus which attempts to decrease an installation cost and prevents an operation space from narrowing, and to provide a fixture suitable for being used in the tag printing apparatus.
The tag printing apparatus 10 consists of a printer 100 which performs main scanning, and has a printing head jetting ink downward, a fixture mount stand 200 which is installed below the scanning face of the printing head and has channels or holes opening upward at specified intervals, and a fixture 300 which is mounted and fixed on the fixture mount stand. Under a condition that a number of the tags which are linked with yarns on every one set are respectively exposed on the surface side and the back side of the fixture, and under a condition that the front and back printing faces of the tags are recessed from the front and the back of the fixture, the fixture is equipped with a plurality of pairs of tag fitting parts to be fitted so as to be freely removable by intervals corresponding to the channels or the holes, and a printer or the fixture mount stand has a means moving in the sub-scanning direction when printing.
