Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain the effect of cut-off of tail seal in a shield excavator for a long period of time, to enable the confirmation of a filling state of seal grease and to make it possible to fill the seal grease at any time.
CONSTITUTION: A mesh wire net 4 is placed between the front and rear tail brushes 2 and 3 provided to a tail section 1 in the tail section 1 of a shield excavator, and the base end sections are respectively connected to the front and the rear of the mesh wire net 4 in space. Cut-off state confirming front and rear pipes 8 and 7 connected to the cut-off state confirming front and rear having the front ends opened to the outside of space are arranged and, at the same time, a seal grease filling pipe 5 for the mesh wire net 4 is provided.
