This tail skirt of the belt conveyer is installed at the lower end of a tail part of a hopper shoot 1 connecting an upper device and the conveyer belt 2, composed of plural belt-shaped rubber pieces 12 and a fixing means for fixing the upper ends of the rubber pieces to the lower end of the tail part of the hopper shoot, the length of the rubber pieces is made longer than the distance from the lower end of the hopper shoot to the conveyer belt, the lower ends of the rubber pieces are bent inward, and the whole width of the tail part of the hopper shoot is closed with the rubber pieces.
