Abstract:
To provide a tail skirt which is positioned at a rear end part of the skirt, capable of suppressing adherence of granular material, and in addition, capable of preventing leakage of the granular material.SOLUTION: A tail skirt is positioned at a rear end, with respect to an advancing direction of a belt conveyor for conveying granular material, of a skirt which covers a part of an upper part of the belt conveyor. The tail skirt comprises: a tail skirt upper plate whose tip end is connected to a rear end of a lower end of a granular material drop port formed between a chute through which the granular material supplied from above passes and the skirt; and a rubber gate whose upper end is connected to a rear end of the tail skirt upper plate and whose lower end is brought into contact with the belt conveyor. In the tail skirt, the tail skirt upper plate is inclined downward from the tip end toward the rear end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
