Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any elastic yarn from traversing an interspace between two adjacent tubes and to obviate a residuum of yarn pieces in the inner layer part of an elastic yarn cop body by guiding the beginning elastic yarn to a groove preinstalled on a tube surface, and installing a yarn changeover device to be fitted in this groove.
SOLUTION: Since a thread guide regulating plate 53 of a yarn changeover mechanism 50 is made to get close to a tube, if elastic yarn is forcibly cut off by a cutter 54, length of the yarn unfitted in a groove of up to a first winding yarn end, from the yarn fitted in the groove on a tube surface is limited to a length of less than one half of the tube length. In addition, a guide 56 being comprised in the yarn changeover mechanism 50 exists on a tangent extension of the tube groove, and the elastic yarn ranging from the yarn fitted in the groove up to this guide 56 is situated on the tangent extension of a groove part of the tube. In this case, the elastic yarn cut by the cutter 54 is subjected to a shrinking force, so that this yarn changeover operation is accurately performed.
