Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tampering detection system capable of detecting software tampering when there are no occupants in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A software-tampering detection system 100 includes two or more electronic control units which can be supplied with power from a battery power source 13. A first electronic control unit 11 has power source control means 57 for switching the battery power source from On to Off and, further, Off to On when a vehicle itself is determined to be parked, while one or more second electronic control units 12 includes tamper-detection means 61 for detecting presence of tampering of software stored in a storage medium when the battery power source is switched to On to restart.
