Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transmit vibration from an eccentric shaft to a tamping tool having a simple structure in a tamping unit compacting a track underneath three succesive ties.
CONSTITUTION: Compacting tools 45, 46 having three pairs of compacting tools longitudinally arranged back and forth in a height-adjustable tool holder 43 or six compacting pickels 56 are provided and connected to eccentric shafts 48, 49 through a compacting drive device 50. These two eccentric shafts 48, 49 are arranged in the vertical direction of the machine with a mutual distance from each other and connected to an external side compacting tool 46 and an internal compacting tool 45 continuing to the tool 46 through the compacting drive device 50.
