Abstract:
To measure the thickness of a bottom plate of an oil tank or the like with high efficiency by using ultrasonic probes.
In this tank bottom plate diagnosing equipment which measures a plate thickness by using ultrasonic probes as a sensor for measuring a plate thickness, a running body 2 is installed in which a plurality of the ultrasonic probes 21 having a form capable of continuously running are arranged at specified intervals while coming always into contact with an inspection plate 1. Running tires 24 which make the running body 2 run while restraining influence of uneven parts on the inspection plate 1 surface upon the ultrasonic probes 21 are installed at least in the front of the running body 2.
