To provide a tank device where pressure of liquid filled inside is hardly increased.
The tank device includes: a tank body 11 having hydrogen filled therein and having an outer pillar shape; a normally closed relief valve 20 provided at one end of the tank body 11 and relieving pressure in the tank body 11 by opening the valve and releasing the hydrogen in the tank body 11; a valve opening means for opening the relief valve 20 through power distribution; a peltier element 50 provided at the other end of the tank body 11, and generating power based on a temperature difference between a low-temperature part 41 and a high-temperature part 42 receiving heat; and a power line 51 supplying power of the peltier element 50 to the valve opening means.
