Abstract:
To provide a tap hole precast body composing a tap hole with excellent durability capable of withstanding use at an induction furnace, and an induction furnace having the same.SOLUTION: A tap hole precast body made of an inorganic fired body is fitted to the opening peripheral edge at an upper part of a furnace body of an induction furnace to give a tap hole, and comprises: a vertical wall part having a front face part giving a part of an inner wall face of the furnace body at the front; a projected gutter part projecting to the backward of the vertical wall part and having a gutter-shaped passage on the upper part; and a rise part continuously connecting the front face part and an inner face of the gutter-shaped passage. Further, the induction furnace is fixed so as to give the tap hole precast body to a surface of a receiving stand fixed to the furnace body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
