In a magnetic tap water activating apparatus equipped with one or more ring-shaped magnetizing units 2 and connectable to a water pipe, an inner cylindrical member 1 composed of a non-magnetic material having inner and outer diameters almost equal to those of the water pipe is disposed and the ring-shaped magnetizing units 2 are arranged on the outer periphery thereof and constituted of cylindrical magnets 2a having an even number of four or more magnetic poles and the magnetic shield rings 2b composed of a magnetic material arranged to the outside thereof and an outer cylindrical member 3 composed of non-magnetic material is arranged inclusive of the magnetizing units 2 and an activated carbon packed bed 4 is disposed in the spaces between the magnetizing units 2 and the outer cylindrical member 3.
