Abstract:
To provide a tape cassette that allows a user to recognize a tape type from the appearance of the tape cassette.
The tape cassettes 30 includes a print tape housed in a cassette case 31. An arm portion 34 is provided which guides the print tape and discharges it from an aperture portion 34a, on the front of the cassette case 31. On the front face 35 of the arm portion 34, an arm identification portion 800 indicating the tape type of the tape cassette 30 is provided adjacent to the aperture portion 34a. One side of the printing tape discharged from the aperture portion 34a is exposed in front of the tape cassette 30, to allow the arm identification portion 800 to be visually checked.
