Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frictional force generated between fixed guide pins and a tape by providing the fixed guide pins at the position such as the winding angle of the tape at the time of tape running does not exceed 40°.
SOLUTION: By taking the maximum winding diameter 3A of the tape with diameter of nearly 53mm as reference, a common outer tangent line (a) in contact with this maximum winding diameter 3A of tape and circumferential surfaces (tape guide surfaces) of rotary guide rollers 7, 8 from the outside is virtually drawn, and the fixed guide pins 9, 10 are provided at the inner side of the cassette than the common outer tangent line (a) and also at the position in contact with this tangent line (a). By providing the fixed guide pins 9, 10 at this position, the winding angle of the tape 3 against the fixed guide pins 9, 10 at the time of tape running is made smaller than in the conventional practice.
