Abstract:
PURPOSE:To offer a shutter of tape cassette with simple constitution and low manufacturing cost, without invasion and generation of dust, with respect to the structure of tape cassette housing the tape capable of recording/reproducing the informations of a music, video, etc., especially the structure of shutter for the tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:The subject device consists of a chassis 1 wherein a tape-like recording medium is housed, shutter 7 with U-shaped sectional plane capable of sliding a window of chassis so as to be opened/closed in the direction connecting the centers of a pair of inserting holes 5, 6 for reel base, and spring 10 hooked between the chassis 1 and shutter 7 so as to always close the window of chassis. The spring 10 is housed in a recessed part 12 provided on the chassis 1 inserted and held between the chassis 1 and shutter 7 which is a synthetic resin mold.
