Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a tape device with a low-cost end tape incorporated without a possibility that the end tape may melt by occurrence of a phenomenon that a thermal head continues to heat the same position.
CONSTITUTION: An end tape 14 is formed by using a heat-resistant paper singly or by bonding heat-resistant paper S to a plastic film T. In this manner, even if a heat from a thermal head is applied to the same position, there is no possibility that the tape may melt and adhere to the thermal head to contaminate the thermal head or that the tape may be cut to cling to components thereabouts.
