PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a tape loading device by having a rubbing mode between a guide slit of a loading arm and a hook pin to drive a pair of loading arms.
CONSTITUTION: A cam 20 is revolved toward an arrow head a4 by a motor 23, and a pin 19 hooked into a groove 22 changes its position according to the displacement of the groove 22. Then a loading drive arm 9 is turned toward an arrow head a5 centering on a shaft 10. A hook pin 11 set at the tip of the arm 9 slides within the guide slits 12 and 13 of both arms 1 and 2 set at the entrance and exit sides respectively. Thus both arms 1 and 2 are turned toward head arrows a6 and a7 with the shafts 3 and 4 defined as fulcrums. As a result, the tape guides 5 and 6 attached at the tips of arms 1 and 2 via tension springs 7 and 8 draw loci 16 and 17 along the guide grooves formed on a substrate. While the guides 5 and 6 move smoothly on the center lines 16 and 17 owing to the elastic deformation of both springs 6 and 7.
