Abstract:
To improve quality of fastening tape.SOLUTION: A tape manufacturing device manufactures a fastening tape 1 containing a thermoplastic fiber material, including: a fixing part 1A fixed to one of a front body side and a back body side of a diaper; and an extended part 1B extended from the fixing part 1A and fastened to the other of the front body side and the back body side. The tape manufacturing device includes, in a tape material 1' from which the fastening tape 1 is cut out: a softening part 3A for thermally softening a bridge region Y which bridges over at least a part of a cut-plan line L' corresponding to an outer edge 1c of the extended part 1B; a hardening part 3B for hardening the bridge region Y which has been softened by the softening part 3A; and a cutting part for cutting the tape material 1' in which the bridge region Y has been hardened by the hardening part 3B is cut along a cut-plan line L'.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
