Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the unnecessary adhesion of a protective film material to a printing stage when a protective film is formed to a film carrier tape having aperture parts such as device holes by screen printing.
CONSTITUTION: A film carrier tape 19 and an auxiliary tape 28 are synchronously and intermittently fed to the gap between a printing stage 11 and a screen mask 12 in the direction shown by an arrow A in a superposed state. A protective film material 13 is printed on the upper surface of the film carrier tape 19 through the screen mask 12 to form a protective film. In this case, since the protective film material 13 is printed on the auxiliary tape 28 through aperture parts such as device holes from the relation of screen printing accuracy even when there is shift between the screen mask 12 and the film carrier tape 19, the protective film material 13 can be prevented from unnecessarily adhereing to the printing stage 11.
