PURPOSE: To provide as tape trapping device that eases feeding a tape and filling staples, and that allows free adjustment of arm opening amount.

CONSTITUTION: A tape strapping device consists of a body 1 equipped with a tape reel container, a frame 2 connected to the body, containing a staple filling part 18 therein and equipped with a lever 3 and 6, and an arm 2 free- rotatably attached to the frame 2. Provided at the tip of an arm 4 is a mechanism that seizes tape fed from the tape reel container through an opening groove. This mechanism pulls the tape to make a ring inside the arm 4, staples the tape already surrounding an article to be fixed and severs. Opening amount of the arm 4 is adjustable, the tape reel insertion part is located at the bottom of the body 1, and this may be and may not be covered with metal strap. A mechanism provided at the leading edge of the arm 4 consists of a pressing tool 12 and a nail 12a directly connected to each other. The tape strapping device houses staples from the front and opening amount of the staple pressing tool has been limited.
