PURPOSE: To obtain a tape winding apparatus without a hand operation to correct a tape winding start portion, according to an apparatus wherein the fold of a tape is not generated and the remainder of the tape not wound is automatically cut.
CONSTITUTION: In a tape winding apparatus, a member to be wounded is positioned on a rotary core portion A, and a tape bobbin 4 for winding a tape is mounted. This apparatus comprises a rotary plate 3 having the opening in its one portion, a taping head 7 having driving means of the plate 3, and tape clamp means 1, 1a, and 1b having a mechanism capable of moving the tape to the width direction of the tape to be wound and pressing the tape to the thickness direction of the tape to restrict the tape drawn from a tape bobbin 4. Further, this apparatus comprises tape cutting means 2 and 2a for cutting the remainder of the tape not wound in condition that a tape setting angle is larger than a tape winding angle.
