PURPOSE: To carry out the winding of a tape around the corner part of the winding of an armature favorably by providing a tape bobbin inside a taping head, opposite to the inner peripheral surface of said head and enabling said bobbin to be inclined in the same position as said head.
CONSTITUTION: When a taping head driving device 30 is operated, a taping head 14 rotates in the direction of the arrow 32, and a tape bobbin 18 and rollers 44, 46, 48, together with the head 14, rotate around the winding 24 of an armature. A tape 16 is drawn out from the bobbin 18 in a nontensile condition, and brought in close contact with the winding 24 of the armature by means of rollers 44, 46, 48, and wound around the winding 24 of armature partly being overlapped with each other. When the tape 16 is to be wound around a corner part 38, a rotating device 26 operates, to gradually rotate the head 14 clockwise in an integrated form with a head base 12. Also, when an elevating device 29 is operated to elevate the head base 12 synchronized with the rotating speed, the bobbin 18, together with the head 14, is moved along the corner part 38, winding the tape 16 at a proper pitch and obtaining a normal overlapped part.
