Abstract:
To provide a tape winding machine having such an excellent winding performance of a roll tape that it enables a tape to be wound loosely so as to prevent the tape from coming off an object at start of winding the tape, and then later to be wound tightly around the object.SOLUTION: The tape winding machine includes an arm 3 connected by a rotating shaft 4 fixed to a rotating plate 5 which is provided with a holder portion 2 for holding a roll tape 1 and a pressing portion 7. When the rotating plate 5 is rotated to start winding a tape around an object 8 from the roll tape 1 held by the holder portion 2, instead of pulling out the tape from the roll tape 1, the tape pulled out earlier from the roll tape 1 is wound loosely around the object 8, which can prevent the tape from coming off the object, and after that, the tape is pulled out from the roll tape 1 to be wound around the object 8 while the tape laid over between the roll tape 1 and the object 8 is pressed by the pressing portion 7, which enables the tape to be wound around the object 8 with appropriate strength.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
