Abstract:
To surely recognize a target shown in an image.SOLUTION: A prediction range setting unit 18 in an object recognition unit 14 sets a prediction range on a next acquired image on the basis of a position of a target recognized in previously acquired images. A target recognition unit 20 in the object recognition unit 14 calculates a likelihood to the target about objects on the next acquired image, and recognizes an object which satisfies a prescribed position condition to the prediction range as the target among objects in which the likelihood satisfies a prescribed recognition condition. When there is a temporary target in which the likelihood does not satisfy the recognition condition, and the prescribed position condition to the prediction range is satisfied, the target recognition unit 20 corrects the likelihood about the temporary target to calculate a correction likelihood in accordance with the number of target recognition images in which the target is recognized when the likelihood satisfies the recognition condition among the previously acquired images, and recognizes a temporary target as a target when the correction likelihood satisfies the recognition condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
