To enable a leaner to do experiment in what ways a beam or column undergoes deformation by himself and to visually check the same in order to easily understand structural dynamics by forming a pair of left and right supporting pieces for placing the ends of strip pieces on the flank of a stand or holding and fixing these ends.
The teaching material for structural dynamics for experimenting the bending of the beam comprises the strip piece 1 of a specified length consisting of an elastic material and the special stand 2. The strip piece 1 is formed by using a synthetic resin rule and the stand 2 is formed of a synthetic resin or wood, etc., to an L shape in section. Two pieces of the supporting pieces 3, 4 are counted on the flank of the sides having no horizontal pieces in a pair of the left and right apart a prescribed spacing. The supporting pieces 3, 4 are constituted so as to make it possible to place the ends to the strip piece 1 or to hold and fix the ends. The teaching material for structural dynamics constituted in such a manner is capable of making the bending experiment of a simple beam (beam supported at both ends), cantilever beam, fixed beam, etc.
