To provide a service whereby telephone directory data can be exchanged without the need for using an exclusive cable and exclusive software and without giving an effect on a shape and a size of a portable telephone terminal.
The telephone directory data storage service providing system is constituted of: a telephone directory data read means 271 for reading telephone directory data from a portable telephone terminal on the basis of a storage registration request of the telephone directory data from a customer; a telephone directory data transmission means 272 for transmitting the read telephone directory data via a wireless communication network according to a prescribed file transfer protocol; and a telephone directory data exchange means 24 for receiving the telephone directory data, storing the data so that the data corresponds to each customer, and distributing the telephone directory data on each occasion in response to a distribution request from each customer.
